Miamisburg Training Center

Serving local 18 in the Southwest region for over 32 years and located between St. Rt. 4 and Rt. 725 in Montogomery County, the Miamisburg Traing Center, features a beautiful new training facility sitting on 150 acres.  The administrative building has over 8300 sq. ft. and consists of offices for staff, a breakroom, three classrooms and a confernece classroom equipped with Interactive Projectin audio/visual systems. The 64oo sq. ft. shop has two large bays with a 10 ton overhead crane equipped with remote controls. The area has storage space for oil and parts. The mezzanine level consists of open and closed storageareas with a waste oil furnance for supplemental heat. Exhaust celing fans and a "make-up" air unit allows fresh air in and carbon monoxide out. Exiting the shop a 54 ft. connector includes a classroom with access to a 16,000 sq. ft. all weather training arena, complete with an exhaust system. The building is capable of handling various equipment training exercises in rain or shine. The grounds surrounding the facility enables field training such as loader, backhoe, dozer, scraper, excavator and graders.To the north of the main building there is a 60,000 sq. ft. crane yard that accomadates CCO certification testing along with clamshell and pick and carry operations. Forklift practical exams and CDL maneuverability functions are also available.
