Course Description

The Ohio Operating Engineers Apprenticeship & Training Program offers a 40-hour comprehensive hazardous-materials training program, which focuses on the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials. This course meets the training requirements of the US Department of Labor for hazardous-material operations. Participants receive in-depth classroom and hands-on instruction in recognition and control of the risk associated with hazardous materials. The health and safety of Local 18 operators is a top priority of the Ohio Operating Engineers Apprenticeship and Training Program.
