Course DescriptionAll participants must have basic operating skills on either dozers, excavators, or cranes. Participants will receive training on either dozers, excavators or sidebooms. Additional training may be provided for a variety of other types of equipment, if available. Pipline training will be held for two consecutive 40-hour weeks. Operators will be given two hours of classroom training and six hours of hands-on training each day. All participants will have ample opportunity to operate and practice, under the supervision of instructors, on the pipeline equipment. The class size will be limited to two members per machine. To register for this class, you must contact your union district representative. |
