Course DescriptionBusiness Representative Tim Hammock will conduct these Steward Classes with input from Local 18’s Business Manager, Pat Sink and/or President Kenny Triplett. Yearly Steward Classes are traditionally conducted over the span of three (3) consecutive evenings. These classes will be scheduled in each of our six district offices. Classes consist of dispute-resolution techniques along with the obligation of fair representation. Contract interpretation and enforcement is discussed and applied through various problem-solving exercises. A 2-hour Steward Refresher Training Class will also be offered. |
